• 8.30am : Our guide welcomes you at Halong International Port and take an hour drive to Hai Phong City, the mini version of Hanoi, also known as the flamboyant city.We will spend half  day exploring Hai phong with city highly and some of the local experiences
  • Du Hang Pagoda: The oldest pagoda in Hai Phong dating back to 10th century
  • Hai Phong Opera house : One of the opera houses in Vietnam during the French colonial
  • A local wet market where you can see fresh fruits, vegetables, local dishes and fresh seafood. if you are a fan of shopping, we may take you to another market to buy shoes, sandals, clothes etc…
  • Hai Phong museum : To learn more about the history of the city, you also can choose the Indochina Art Museum as an alternative
  • See French colonial architecture of Hai Phong

  For another half day, there is a few options to choose from

  Option 1 : If you are an active traveler, we recommend Elephant Mountain by hiking 25 minutes to reach its submit (not recommended for senior traveler since hiking might be too much for you. We also don’t recommend this activity during the foggy, misty day or in case of bad weather)

  Lunch will be served in local place with one of the signature dishes of Hai Phong (If you are vegetarian, please let us know in advance)

  Option 2 : Rural village tour

  We will take 40 minutes drive to the oldest village of Hai Phong.  Strolling around the village for 1 hour, you will see familiar sights of a traditional village in Vietnam like banyan tree, village well, communal house, old houses made by mud and laterite (da long) – an old type of bricks in Vietnam.

  On this tour, you will interact with locals to learn more about their day-to-day life : how they eat, sleep and earn their living.  The village is peaceful, quiet, away from the bustle and hustle of the big city.

  Then over 1 hour drive back to Ha Long International Port. The private short tour city tourends from 4.30pm to 5pm.
